LAUREL International feels very proud as a part of huge success of the Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore - a high profile event with global interest. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) praised the organisation of the inaugural edition of the Youth Games, a world-class sporting competition of 13 days (14-26 August 2010) focused also in the cultural and educational activities.

The day after the completion of the glittering first edition of IAAF Diamond League Doha 2010, another challenge knocked the door of LAUREL. The "Singapore 2010" Organising Committee of the upcoming Youth Olympic Games assigned a number of experts from LAUREL International for handling the Media Operations in the competition and non-competition venues.

Mission accomplished for LAUREL at the inaugural IAAF Diamond League in Doha. More than 100 media representatives from all over the world attended and covered the first ever Diamond League meeting, and were impressed with the level of services and organisation of the high profile event which succeeded the established Golden League.

Immediately after the IAAF World Indoor Championship success, LAUREL is benefiting for its unerring operation and performance by renewing the trust of the Qatari sports leadership.

The IAAF World Indoor Championships which took place in the state-of-art Aspire Dome venue in Qatar in March 12-14 proved to be a huge success with LAUREL’s personnel played a major and significant role.

The IAAF trusted Qatar to be the first ever Middle East country host of the World Indoor Championships which will take place in March 2010 and the Qatar Olympic Committee has chosen LAUREL International through an international tender process, as the most suitable media management consulting agency, to assist them prove that Doha is capable of presenting to the world a top class organised major athletics event.
