Laurel brought Doha Diamond League to the top
The result of the collaboration offered to the athletics world a unique sport event in terms of Communications, Media and Broadcasting services. As a result, at the end of the season, the International Athletics Federation (IAAF) awarded the Organising Committee a joint first place (along with Paris) in the Diamond League rankings for Media Services - well ahead of traditional European and US meetings.
Laurel also played a key role in the build up of the Doha Diamond League, by promoting the meeting and increasing the interest of the local Media and public with a series of events and press releases. Laurel's promotional service resulted in an almost full capacity crowd at the Qatar Sports Club Stadium for the first time in 15-year history of Qatar's athletics event.
